a slap in the face...

You ever see something posted on Facebook or Instagram or maybe just a quote on a wall and it instantly slaps you in the face? Like you totally knew it was meant just for you...

This happened today... Read HERE!

The day I stopped saying hurry up...

I feel like I am ALWAYS telling Hadlea to hurry up. With a new baby, I feel like my life is in a constant state of chaos. It isn't. There is usually nothing I am doing that can't wait. But with my get everything done, be on time type of personality, I feel like I am always behind!
I would totally be lying if I said I didn't cry big fat tears reading that! I don't want to be that type of mother. Now... I know I am not harming Hadlea in any way shape or form, however, she is SOOO funny! And I know I miss out on so many funny things going through her mind by rushing her... or I miss out on the way she views thing because I constantly tell her to hurry up...

I can honestly say I am a better person because of Hadlea... Kason too... however, Hadlea can now explain things from a different point of view and it allows me to see things in a totally different light. I am just so thankful for her perspective on life! It is a lot better than mine... hers is colorful, slow and VERY funny!

I want to be THE best mom possible. I know I do a pretty good job. I just never want them to think they cannot enjoy an entire icee because I will be rushing them through it...

I love these little babies with everything I have. They are my entire world. And I definitely shouldn't be hurry our lives together away...
