Memorial Day Weekend 2013

We got a special visitor for Memorial Day Weekend! Aunt Shannan! She was able to come in on Saturday and stay until Monday. Uncle Mike kept the girls so Shan could get in a lot of snuggles from H & K! And that is just what we did... play with the kids! It was so great to have her here and be able to catch up in person! Only another month and they will only be 4 hours away vs the 12 hour drive now!

 

While she was here, Gigi came over one night and kept the kids so Shan, Justin and I could go to dinner! The first time away from Kason and some adult time was nice! 

Someone was happy to see Gigi!

We also made a stop at the splash pad!

She is seriously entertaining!

Father's Day 2013

We had a super relaxing Father's Day Weekend! Justin had to work on Saturday. Sunday we did church, lunch and some shopping. Then Alan, Amanda and Kayman came for a visit!

I am so thankful for some awesome men in my life! I honestly cannot imagine life without any of these guys and the love they bring to my kids and I!

my little family watching the 'healing in the heartland' that was put on by Blake Shelton for the Oklahoma tornado victims. I cried the entire show. I am so, so thankful for my family and friends!

Kason Havoc {2 months}

I mean seriously... time really has to slow down! I cannot believe my baby boy is 2 months old {I still cannot believe his sister is now 3 and a half!}!! I am still on maternity leave and LOVING it! I could seriously do this stay at home mom thing... well... if I could get a babysitter/nanny for about 4 hours a day to find my fah-reak-ing brain! Really?! How do you stay at home mommas do it? How do you not lose your mind since you never get a break to find it? I feel like I am always in a mess and looking for something! However, I would seriously stay that way to love on my babies all day long! Well... technically I should say 'baby' because my BIG baby is LOVING school these days and cries when she doesn't go! I mean.... I did take 3 months of maternity leave to get in LOTS of time with both of them. Hadlea is just not having it! She prefers school. And I am totally okay with that!

Weight: 11 lbs 5 ozs - 41% (7.9 lbs at birth)
Length: 24 in - 86% (21 in at birth)
Head circumference: 16 1/8 in - 75% (14 in at birth)

Two. Months. Old!

And the freaking cutest grin on this planet!

 

He is a GREAT baby! Only crying when he is hungry or wet... or VERY TIRED!

He is still not on a regular schedule... which is driving me crazy! He normally goes down around 8 and then nurses every 3 hours from there. I 'sometimes' get a 4-5 hour stretch but nothing consistent.

He is not a great napper. He has been taking short 30-45 minute naps throughout the day.

He is nursing every 3 hours... ALL. DAY. LONG.

He has had about 4 bottles

He is wearing Size 1 diapers

He is wearing 0-3 month clothes

He LOVES bath time and car rides

He follows Justin and I's voices

He LOVES his sister! I think it is so strange that he totally knows her! She can smother him to death and he still gives her the cheesiest grins!

He is cooing like no other! He loves a good conversation! Ha!

He smiles and kicks his feet like crazy! He is one squirmy dude!

He is definitely putting on the weight

He has started taking a paci
