Looking forward to: Finishing his room! His canvas for above his bed came in along with everything else... I cannot wait to reveal it! This is the same room I wanted to do for H when I 'thought' she was a boy! I have waited a long time to do this! Ha!
I guess I won't leave you without a sneak peek! :-)
Best moment this week: Getting in all of the fun stuff for his room!!
Milestones per babycenter: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers – which he'll need to regulate his body temperature once he's born – are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
I went to my doctor's appointment today and my sugar count was SUPER high. They had thought I had went for my glucose test, which I hadn't. I have to go back Friday morning for a blood test when I have been able to fast. It will either be nothing or the onset of pregnancy induced diabetes! Ugh! I guess we will see what they say?!
