This past Sunday, we had a family birthday party for Hadlea at our house. Her actual birthday isn't until this Sunday, Dec 9, but some of our family will be out of town so we had it a week early.
We started with chili... which Justin said seemed strange to be eating when it was above 70 degrees that day. And of course I told him I wasn't planning for it to be in the 70s in December! I guess you just cannot win them all! Ha!

We started with her BIG present! A playhouse. She is LOVING it! One of Justin's friends is a home builder, and he built this for us. It is just the cutest thing EVER! I will share more about it in a separate post!
Then it was on to her other presents. I think most of the family expected to us to do some cutting the cake gender reveal, but I decided to incorporate it into one of her presents so they would least expect it. I bought her a boy baby and wrapped her sign inside! It was so fun to surprise our family with the news!
And onto the rest...
Hadlea and Kayman (my niece arriving in January) got matching Northface jackets from Nana, Justin's mom! LOVE! She got tons of clothes, babies, craft supplies, a new baby stroller and a table and chairs set and kitchen for her playhouse! And of course Uncle Jake came through with shoes... his go to gift! This year, Jordan's!
We even got in some family pictures!
You know how much I love a good family picture!

I thought this was Hadlea's best birthday to date! Simple and fun!
Thanks to our family for coming and for her awesome gifts!
Hadlea is one VERY spoiled blessed baby girl!
