House for Sale!

Well... our house is officially on the market! Our realtor put a sign in our yard around 10AM Friday, and we got our first showing at 12PM on Saturday. Still no word on what they thought but great to get some traffic fast!

This past week has been a complete blur! We have been so busy cleaning out closets, drawers and every nook in our house! Who knew selling a house was SO exhausting?! As bad as I remember it being 6 years ago, I still didn't remember it to be this bad! :-) ...and oh my goodness... how can you possibly fit so much stuff in an attic! Holy Cow! It is completely ridiculous! We cleaned out the garage and attic, and we hauled off 7 LARGE trash bags full of trash/junk, we filled up 4 of our neighbors trash cans (with their permission, of course) and we hauled a trailer load of garage sell stuff to a storage unit (thanks to my SIL, Leslie, for bringing the trailer!). Makes me tired all over again just thinking about it!

My mom came up this past Monday/Tuesday and worked on painting trim and touching up some of the rooms. My mom is THE best! That woman is a saint... and knows exactly when I am stressed and need my momma! I may be 30 years old, but I will never outgrow needing my momma... thanks for everything you did, mom! I would never make it without you! She also took H home Wednesday afternoon so Justin and I could focus on getting the house ready... and as much as I missed that sweet thing, I totally forgot what you can get done without a 2 year olds 'help'! Ha!

I would totally be lying if I said I was excited to move! I LOVE my house... it is all ME, and it is Hadlea's first home! I sure hope our next house is at home-y as this one. But either way, I will always remember the great memories we made in this house! It has been so good to us... and the people we have met, well... I have no doubt that God led us to that home to meet those people. We have been overly blessed with neighbors and life long friends!

So now that I am all emotional and thinking about backing out of our new home... here is just a peek into our little HOME!

Now don't go thinking I am really THAT sad about moving... There will be LOTS of great memories in the new house, I have no doubts! Plus, the friends Hadlea will be making at the ponds, pool and playground. I am really looking forward to the next chapter of our life. It will be a amazing!
