happy 2nd birthday: the party

I wasn't sure if I thought I could surpass Hadlea's 1st birthday, just because we had so many friends/family, and it was such a great time! But... I think I did it! I went a little lazy with this party and had it at a local bowling alley, which also has a party room, arcade and go-carts! What more could kids possibly want?! Ha!

After this party, I am not sure I could ever have one at home again! The bowling alley set up everything and all I had to do was bring the cup cupcakes and any party favors! They provided all of the table clothes, cups, plates, silverware, etc. Plus, we had a party coordinator that helped with everything! And if that wasn't enough, it was WAY cheaper than the first birthday! Score!

I thought I would be super mom and wake Hadlea up early that morning so she would go down for an early nap! What was I thinking!? That idea went to crap! So our no nap baby girl... was actually REALLY good!

We had a great turn out of about 30... and the babies LOVED the bowling!

Then it was onto the arcade games!

We ended with over 1600 tickets so all of the kids got some fun prizes!

Once most everyone left, we road go-carts! Hadlea was beyond mad that she couldn't ride! Poor girl!

After everything was over, some of us headed to dinner and then out for drinks! Momma needed something to de-stress from the busy afternoon! Ha! Gigi and Poppa took a tired baby girl home to put her to bed!

Thanks to all that made the day SO special! H is one VERY loved baby girl! Cannot wait to share all of her decorations and goodies!
