weekend with the madera's

Friday after we got home from Hadlea's 1st Spring Program, the Madera's arrived from Arkansas to spend the weekend! I met Deanna my very first day of college, and we have remained the best of friends since. Her husband, Mark, and Justin have become the best of friends too... and might talk more than Deanna and I do! Ha! I am just so thankful for our 'couple' friends! I know they can be so hard to come by as we get older!

We spent the weekend outside and grilling! We were talking at one point about how nice it was to just relax and hang out! We had absolutely no plans except to hang out...

We spent alot of time playing in the backyard on the playset! Courtney and Hadlea. {Deanna and I realized that we met when Courtney was Hadlea's age, 16 months. She was such a great baby and I have loved watching her to grow into a sweet, sweet girl and big sister! She is so great with her new baby brother and jumps at anything he needs!}

We also walked down to the pocket park! Hadlea, Court and Briggs.

On Saturday, the boys went fishing {surprise!!} and we went shopping. We were going to go to the aquarium, but ran out of time after shopping! Priorities! Ha! It was such a great relaxing weekend! I realize that I never get a picture with my friends, but of just of our babies! Oh well... they're the cutest anyway! :)
