If you know me at all, you know I am completely terrible with dates! God forbid it ever happen, but I think it would be possible for me to forget my daughters birthday! I MIGHT remember it is in December, but it is possible to forget the day! Ha! However, one day I will never forget....

We have THE coolest chick on the block!
I remember thinking some days how life seemed to stand still when we were trying for a baby, and these days, they are flying by at warp speed! I know I would have never dreamed it before, but I wish we could go back to time standing still! I have the most perfect life and baby girl! I want her to stay little and momma's baby girl FOREVER! But I know that will not happen. In the mean time, I will continue to cherish every minute I get with her!
I went to a funeral this morning for a friend's sister! Funerals always bring up such mixed emotions for me from past experience. I think most people go through this... so sad that your loved one is not with you on earth, but so happy that they are in heaven and celebrating their life with Jesus! But this funeral was different for me. Justin and I have been completing our will before we go on vacation next month. We want to ensure that Hadlea is in the best care possible, if anything were to ever happen to Justin or I. We made the final decisions on her guardians, and I could not feel more at ease. I know no matter what God has planned for us, that she will be taken care of and loved!
God is so good. I know at times I have to remind myself of this when things are not happening MY way! I know He has a plan and my life is already written out. I just have to believe in Him and know He knows what is best for me! He gave me the greatest gift that I have ever received. It wasn't when I WANTED it, but He fulled my every prayer. And she is definitely one of the GREATEST things He has ever done! :) ... and that might be biased, but I will always believe it is true!

I'll never forget the day I found out too ~ almost a month after you ;) May 6, 2009! She is getting so big & cute!
I agree, she is totally the coolest chick on the block =) Aren't little girls so much fun!
