randoms & zulily finds

just a few random pictures from this week.

we find babies everywhere.
if they can be put 'in' something, you bet we will find them there...
daddy's boot!
we have this second high chair/booster seat from when we had a nanny who brought her little boy to our house. we have kept it since our friends have kids too. hadlea thinks her babies like to 'sit' in it and eat too. silly girl!
hadlea's gigi (her great granny) sent her money for Easter and instead of putting it in her saving, I decided to let her put it in her piggy bank. we robbed daddy's change drawer and spent an hour putting money in her piggy. she would say, "piggy", "penny", each time she put the change in!
I won this backpack last year, and I LOVE it! We now use it for a diaper bag! I was thinking the other day that I would like a lunch tote to use for traveling. I take yogurt, cheese or fruit for a snack when we go somewhere, but I had nothing to keep it cold with so I couldn't take that stuff if we were traveling too far. I searched and searched for the perfect lunch tote and actually found one to match her backpack! I am LOVING it too! I got it here!
If you don't have Zulily, you are truly missing out! Sign up here! You sign up to receive emails for daily specials! I got these sandals for $7 a piece! Definitely check it out!
yep, just a day of randoms!

4-wheelin'

Wednesday night, we went out to Rusty and Nana's since we didn't get to see them on Easter because of the weather. Hadlea loves to go out to their house to see the horses and their horse of a dog, Jolene. Jolene pretty much comes up past my waste on all fours, and Hadlea thinks she is hilarious! It was little cold so she didn't get to spend much time outside.

But she did get alot of riding done inside! Rusty and Nana got Hadlea this 4-wheeler for Easter... Does she not already look like a professional rider!? Ha!
She HAD to give her baby a ride... which she thought was funny too!
Riding must wear a girl out so she took an ice cream break with daddy!
Daddy IS funny!
She also got some super cute dresses, chocolates and bubbles from Rusty and Nana.
Hadlea got this personalized bunny from Aunt Donna! She always comes up with the CUTEST stuff! She knows how much I love monogramming! :)
A video of our little rider! Her laugh is just so contagious!

Easter Sunday

So last post for Easter! I think I had more posts than I did at Christmas and her birthday! Ha! It was that great of a celebration, I guess! We have had a great week, so I will be sharing about that tomorrow, hopefully!

And I do want to say how sad I am for the people of Alabama and the other southern states! I CANNOT believe those tornadoes and all of the devastation! I get CNN breaking news on my phone and when I got the first update yesterday evening, there were already like 26 killed and the tornadoes were still on the ground! I cannot believe the death tolls are still rising. My heart is just breaking for those people! We will definitely continue to pray for them and their families! Hoping none of you had family in that area!

Sunday morning, it was up and ready for church! It was POURING down rain, but out the door we went anyway! How does it ALWAYS turn off cold on Easter?! I was so sure it would be nice and warm since Easter was late this year, but no luck! Oh well... it could definitely always be worse so it is nice to get to church and celebrate Jesus!
My sweet little family!
My baby girl and me!
{And I LOVED Hadlea's outfit! The dress/tutu (it's one piece) was Brynlee's and Shannan gave it to us after B outgrew it! And I am so glad she did! I thought it worked perfect for Easter! I just topped it off with RuffleButt tights and a Ralph Lauren sweater!}
Grammie and Hadlea!
After church, Alan and Amanda invited us out to brunch at the country club! It was SO good! I am pretty sure I gained the 5 lbs I have been trying to lose before the beach!

Alan and Amanda got H this Easter basket with candy, a purse, a doodle mat and of course a baby! This baby came with a pacifier so her and Hadlea are best friends... they even share paci's! Ha!
After we got home from the country club, it was time to dye eggs! I found these little cups that you could put the dye in, then drop the egg in and then shake them and they wouldn't spill. They were not 100% spill proof, but they did pretty good! Hadlea atleast got to somewhat participate!
shaking...
All she was interested in here was cracking the egg. Once she figured out they cracked, she wanted to crack all of them! I cracked one and let her taste the egg... She kept feeling it and saying, 'goss' (gross)!
Then came nap time! This little girl had a FULL weekend and she was exhausted! After naptime, the Easter bunny had came! She wasn't quite sure what to think!
Her goodies! Shirts, bathing suit for the beach, Sun hat for the beach, a bath baby (which she LOVES), bubbles, chalk, animal crackers and some candy!
Her full basket! I am so glad I had this basket made! I just LOVE it!
Grammie and Grampie got her this water table for outside! I was really hoping it would be warm over Easter for her to play in it, but maybe this weekend! She loves to play in water, so no doubts she will love this!
Before bedtime, it was a quick game of peek-a-boo in the bathtub! She is SO much like her daddy in trying to make you laugh!
We definitely had a great, busy weekend! Now it has been back to the real world! :) Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter with family and/or friends!

egg hunting at the country club

After Aunt Amanda's bridal shower earlier in the morning, we headed to the country club that Uncle Alan and Aunt Amanda are members of for an Easter egg hunt. I wasn't so sure how Hadlea would do hunting eggs, but she had done it at daycare so I thought we would try it again!

I do have to tell a funny story here... Alan (my older brother) called and asked if we would want to go to an Easter egg hunt at TCC. He said he needed to make reservations, so I said yes. One of the college's here in Tulsa is called TCC, Tulsa Community College. I thought it was super strange that a college was having an egg hunt and that you HAD to make reservations. But anywhoo... he was offering to take care of it, and I thought it was super sweet for him to think of H!! As we drove to TCC later that afternoon, I realized we weren't driving in the direction of TCC the college, so imagine my surprise when we drove into THE TCC he was talking about, Tulsa Country Club! I then worried we weren't dressed appropriately! Ha! It has been raining here in Oklahoma for a few days so everything is SUPER wet and muddy... which is why I didn't dress H or I up! But no worries, we fit in just fine! Ha!

I thought she looked super cute no matter the weather... or the place! :)
They had a petting zoo! Hadlea loved the lambs, pigs and horses!
Petting rabbits with Auntie A!
Aunt Amanda, Hadlea and I
Petting the pony with Grammie!
I thought this was perfect... holding her bucket checking out the pony! Such a little farmer she is! :)
Waiting in line to hunt eggs for her age group with Uncle Alan!
Go!
After she picked up a box of Nerds, she wasn't interested in ANYTHING else! She soon came around and finished picking up a few eggs!
Once she got going again, she went around saying, "moe, moe, moe" (for more)!
Uncle Alan, Hadlea and Aunt Amanda!
Her loot!
And of course she convinced Auntie A she needed those Nerds before dinner! :)

Playing with A & A!
Thanks so much to Alan and Amanda for thinking of H and inviting us to TCC! It was such a great time, and Hadlea was NOT ready to leave! But it wasn't long before she got to go back... it was back for brunch after Easter service on Sunday!
