This past weekend was one of the best weekends in a long time! It was nice, relaxing and spent with some great company! (I already uploaded my pictures so I guess I will go backwards! :)
Today, we worked, I went to the gym and when I got home, daddy already had spaghetti made, and Hadlea fed! He is such a great daddy and husband! There are so many times I feel so blessed to have him... although there are times when I want to ship him out the door! Ha! JK!
Yesterday, Monday, we went to buy some last minute things for the party! I am SO ready for it to get here! I feel like I have been planning for MONTHS now, so I am ready to see it come together. I was trying to find things for the kids to do incase it is too cold to go outside so we went and picked up Christmas ornaments for the kids to decorate. I think they will have so much fun! We are going to set it up in the garage, so they can get as wild as they want!
Sunday, Justin, Hadlea and I spent the ENTIRE day shopping! I hadn't done much Christmas shopping at all. I think we were gone 7 hours shopping, but we had such a great time! Hadlea was so perfect and did so great getting in and out of the car 100 times! Her Aunt Shan had given her some little pink fur boots, and I thought she looked so adorable in them!
Sunday after shopping, we spent the evening cleaning for the party! I cleaned out all of Hadlea's clothes to put in the attic... these are all newborn to 6 months! OMGoodness... this girl has the clothes! These are 3 HUGE tubs! And no one say I told you so regarding all of the shopping I did! :) I don't regret it one bit... just hoping for another girl some day to put them to use again... OR Auntie Amanda!!?? :)
Saturday night, we went to dinner at the Roumbanis' house. Remember the professional fisherman that I emailed and got Justin a guided fish with?! Well... they called and had us to dinner! They are great people, and we had a great time! We ate and watched the Big 12 Championship came.. which OU won beating Nebraska! Yeah!
Friday night, my friend Deanna, her daughter Courtney and son Briggs came into town to stay the night! They are going to miss Hadlea's birthday so they brought her gift on down! It was so great to spend the evening catching up with Deanna and seeing her babies! I met Deanna when Court was 2, and I cannot believe how much she has grown! She is the sweetest girl... so polite! Love her to death!

And you know you have a true friend when she comes bringing Rick's Bakery cookies! These things are AMAZING.. and I finished all 6 of them... well... I did give Justin half of one! :)
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Tomorrow, Shannan and the girls are coming into town, Thursday is Hadlea's 1st Birthday and Jake's second surgery, and the weekend brings the BIG party!
