12 Months & a Christmas Tree

I cannot prove that time has flown by over the last year, but I can definitely prove that Hadlea has grown... from a sweet baby girl with the tiniest features to a 1 year old going on 5! Hadlea is becoming more and more independent as the days go by! She wants to put her own shoes on, get out her own books and feed herself when eating! She will hardly eat anything these days if she cannot feed herself. I don't know where the time has gone, but I am so thankful to have shared the last year with the most precious gift I have ever received....

Monthly Comparison: 1 through 12 Months...

Hadlea had her 1 year checkup on Monday. She got 4 shots... BOO! Daddy was able to go with us, so she received lots of comforting! Dr Z said she looked great and had THE most developed mouth he had ever seen on a one year old! Ha! He was VERY surprised to see all 4 molars... with more coming in! He gave us the okay to start whole milk. We are mixing milk and formula half and half for a few days to make sure she adjusts okay. She's a growing girl... sure to be tall and skinny!

This week has gone extremely fast! We have had to jump into major Christmas mode since we have two Christmas' this weekend! I hadn't finished shopping yet, needed to get everything wrapped and some of our decorations up! Monday we bought groceries and cleaned from the party, Tuesday we had our carpets cleaned, and I went to the gym, Wednesday we went shopping and out to eat, tonight, we played with H, put up the tree, and then decorated when she went to bed...

Today, I also got Hadlea a smaller fork and she LOVED feeding herself. She is getting so good too!
