tailgating, football, parade & the farm

If you had to guess whether our weekend was nice and relaxing or completely crazy, I bet I can guess which you would choose...and you would be completely right! I am really hoping that we soon have a nice relaxing weekend at home! But my guess is that will come when it is 20 degrees outside and we are snowed in! Ha! But that is okay...we always have alot of fun and get in some quality time with friends and/or family.
Friday afternoon, daddy headed for his weekend fishing tournament. This was a 2 day tournament and the one we were hoping he would do really well! It paid the most money!! :) Hadlea and I headed to my parents, but not before stopping in a nearby town and finding Hadlea's 1st birthday outfit! YEAH! It is taking everything I have not to show a picture, but I want to save it. It is the most PERFECT thing ever! :) We also found an adorable Christmas outfit! I will save that for pictures too! Sorry!
When we got to Medford on Friday, we headed up to the high school football game. It was so good to see some old friends. And of course, Grammie and Grampie had to show Hadlea off. She loves it outside so she was perfect! After the game, we headed to the house. Grammie had bought Hadlea some new toys...which she loved!
Oh those ruffle bottoms just make me want to eat her up! Love them!
Mike, Jennifer and Ady came over for a visit! Ady and Hadlea got in some good quality play time! They are going to be such great friends! Ady just adores her and Hadlea gives her the biggest smiles!
And she loves to eat Ady's snacks! Ha!
Saturday morning came fast! Hadlea did NOT sleep well at all! I do not know what to do anymore when she doesn't sleep 12 hours! :) She sleeps in a pack-n-play at Grammie and Grampie's house, but I don't think it is big enough. She is the most restless sleeper and is constantly moving. It was 3AM before she got still, but it was 6AM when she woke back up for a bottle! Once she went back to sleep, it was 1130AM before she woke up! When she woke up, we got a visit from cousin's Megan and Mason. Mason is getting so big. He is 3 months younger than Hadlea and is already outweighing her! Go figure! :) I didn't even get a picture of them! :(
After Megan and Mason left, Hadlea got ready for the parade!
Grammie is the Court Clerk of Grant County in north central Oklahoma. She had a parade in Wakita that she went through. Hadlea got to sit with her!
She also got to meet Grandpa Johnny. He was my basketball coaches dad and has always been like another grandpa to us! She LOVED the horse!
And here is the big girl enjoying the parade!
Eating a snow cone...although Grammie and Grampie reassured me there wasn't much sugar! Ha!
Clapping for the parade!
While Hadlea was enjoying the parade, I headed to Stillwater to watch some Tulsa football! Notice...I didn't say I headed to Stillwater to watch some OSU football! :) I road with my friend Catherine. We went over to a few tailgates before the game. My little brother was having a tailgate with some friends. It was so good to see him. I ended up spending most of the day with him. He is looking better each day! And he wasn't happy about my Tulsa Hurricane shirt! :)
Catherine, Alea and I
Some of my oldest high school friends and so thankful for their friendship. It is nice to have great friends with no drama! :)
After hitting a few tailgates, I headed into the game with Jake. One of Jake's customers gave us tickets and they were terrific seats! Tulsa got slaughtered by OSU, but it was a fun time no matter what!
I drove home Saturday night and woke up to this sweet girl! Once we all got up, we headed to the farm!
Grampie has tamed a wild cat, and he is really proud of her! :)
Hadlea wasn't so sure of her!
And then it was a little 4-wheeler time! She LOVED this!
I LOVE this picture!
My baby girl and I riding around the farm!
She also got to meet Spot, my dad's bird dog! She is just obsessed with animals!
And met some cows!
Grampie carried her around in a feed bucket!
I have a feeling these two are going to spend alot of time at the farm and have tons of fun! I have so many memories hanging at the farm with my dad (before I was old enough to work out there)! I cannot wait for Hadlea to make those same memories!
Grampie and his girl
We then drove over to see some cows that my dad could call up to the truck. Hadlea LOVED them...until they moo'd. She wasn't so sure what to think of that!
It was so hot at the farm. When we came back we got some lunch and then changed Hadlea into her Dallas gear. Dallas played the Chicago Bears...let's just say it is going to be a long year, but seeing my sweet baby girl in some Cowboys gear will make it all okay! :)
Daddy was home by the time we returned on Sunday! They were in 5th place after day 1, but didn't have a good day on Sunday, so they didn't place in the money! Boo! Oh well...it was a fun season and he had a great time!
Another great weekend with family and friends! We have cousins visiting today and then Uncle Jake will be here for the week! Jennifer and Ady might be here Friday and Saturday for the zoo and aquarium, and then onto a baby shower in Oklahoma City on Sunday for my friend Jessica! I cannot wait to celebrate Baby J's arrival. She will be the sweetest thing ever! It will be another busy week and weekend, but I cannot wait! Fun times!

Looks like you had great football weather! I gave Presley some snow cone this weekend, so your post made me feel better. We are also huge Cowboy fans. My husband split P's boppy in half over the ending of the first Cowboy's game. Instead of baby proofing our house, we have to football proof. Yes, it's going to be a very long season! (Also, I typed a whole comment before this one and it didn't go through. If you end up with two comments from me, that's why)
