I just wanted to document the day we have all been waiting on since Jake's surgery...the day he had his tubes removed. Wednesday, September 8, 2010, Jake became tubeless! I sent him a text shortly after and asked if he felt better. His response, "Heck yes...I can breath!" I cannot even imagine the difference you would feel going from this...
to this!
He cannot smell, and therefore, cannot really taste. I think Jake begins to look more and more like himself as time goes on! I am still so proud of how he has handled everything! He has taught me so much about being thankful and not caring about what others think!
And a little reminder of what he looked like only a month before! Crazy what a little softball will do! :)
I plan to post pictures of Jake from day one through today...but I better get permission first!
