we have a scooter and laugher!

I do not know how she does it, but she is scooting EVERYWHERE! What am I going to do once she starts crawling! Ha! I know, I know...you mom's with older kids are laughing at me already! But I am sure it will not be the last time. I kept Hadlea home on Good Friday although I still had to work. I put her on her play mat and we played for a while and this is how I left her...notice her head is towards the fireplace at the top...

And this is what I seen when I came back. Her feet are towards the fireplace. She turned completely around. She has done it two other times now, but I have not caught it on video. I am DYING to see it in person! She is just too sneaky! Ha! But...you will also notice that football is on the TV. Yes, I watch Sports Center most of the day! So..she is her momma's daughter and loves her some football. Or that is what I am going to tell myself! :)

And now we have a laugher on our hands! Hadlea has been doing a full belly laugh for a few weeks but it is very sporadic! I have tried and tried to get it on video, but it seems like she stops as soon as I pull out the camera! Go figure! I finally got it yesterday. She is laughing at Ashli, our nanny. Maybe this means she loves her and it will work out! :) I sure hope so! This is definitely my favorite video to date. Her laugh is just so funny and adorable! I could listen to it all day long. And thanks to the job I have, I can sometimes hear her laughing and talking in the other room. It just makes my day! :)

The last few days have been really laid back for us. I guess we are still trying to catch up from the busy Easter weekend. Monday, Hadlea went to the babysitter and then we cooked out for dinner. Tuesday, Nana babysat as our babysitter had a doctor's appointment and then we went to eat out with friends. Wednesday, we tried out a nanny. Our babysitter took a nursing position so we have been looking for someone the last couple of weeks. I LOVE Hadlea being at home, but with my job, I cannot keep her alone. We looked into a nanny and found someone that might just work perfectly for us. She also has a baby boy and they seem to really like each other so far. They just sit and stare at each other. It is so funny! Wednesday evening I went to a going away party for a lady at work. Justin and Hadlea just dropped me off at the place and then came back to get me so we could go eat dinner. Once we got home, my cousin James came into town to stay a couple of nights. Today, Hadlea is home with me. We played this morning and she is now asleep, which means I should be getting work done, but I HAD to post the laughing video. It is just so funny!
