3months vs. 4months
I know I write daily about how much joy Hadlea has brought to our lives! And I know I have said there are not enough words to express my love for her, well, there really aren't. So instead of going on and on and telling you things you hear on a daily basis, here is a letter just for her!
Hadlea Easton,
I can barely start writing this before I get teary eyed. Your daddy and I thank God for you every single day. You mean more to us than you will ever truly know. I hope one day you get to read this and you know exactly how we feel, but I do have a feeling you will not until you have a child of your own. I love your daddy so much, but the love for you is very different. And it is not something you can explain. You are loved by so many people. You are the most special little girl I have ever met in my life. You are ALWAYS happy. We know immediately when you cry that you are hungry, tired or someone is holding you and you just seen your mommy! Your daddy is waiting for the day that you cry for him, and I know it is not too far away! There is no doubt in my mind that you will be a daddy's girl so I am going to enjoy the mommy's girl phase while it lasts. :) Thank you for making our lives more meaningful than we ever imagined possible. We love you baby girl, and we look forward to the fun times ahead.
What is Hadlea up to?!- She is eating every 3-4 hours during the day, anywhere from 2-7 ounces. She is NEVER consistent.
- Her schedule looks something like: 7 ounces at 7AM, 3-4 ounces at 10AM, 3-4 ounces at 1PM, 3-4 ounces at 4PM, 3-4 ounces at 7PM and 2 ounces at 9PM and then bedtime!
- She now has 1-2 Tablespoons of cereal in her last bottle. She is NOT about to eat it from a spoon. No matter how many times I try! :)
- She is sleeping around 10 hours a night (We normally lay her down around 9PM and she wakes up at 7AM to eat!)
- She is in size 1 diapers
- She LOVES bath time and car rides. (We are about to move her to the big bath tub because she is getting WAY too long!)
- She is in 0-3 and 3 month clothes
- She DEFINITELY knows her mommy and daddy. I had NO idea they could have attachment issues at such a young age. She will cry when anyone else has her if she sees me. And the poor babysitter...Hadlea cries when I leave. It makes me feel so good as a first time momma, but it makes me sad to think she is sad to see me leave. Hopefully her staying at home now with the nanny will fix those issues! HOPEFULLY! :)
- She has started to notice Berkley and will watch him. If he lays by her on the floor, she will pull his hair. When she sees him, she gets the biggest smile!
- She has started grabbing at toys if you hold them in front of her and of course, they go to her mouth!
- She is the happiest when she wakes up from sleeping and gives the biggest smile.
- She is smiling, cooing and kicking her feet like crazy!
- She has started to belly laugh out loud more and more..it melts my heart!
- She is rolling over more too. She can roll both ways...belly to back and back to belly. I don't know if it is on purpose, but she has done it several times.
- She is weighing around 12 lbs! We go to the doctor next week, and I cannot wait to find out her weight!
It gets harder to take pictures as she gets older! I think I took all of these in about 2+ minutes and then she was DONE! Hopefully I will get some better ones over the weekend!

finally i get to see the post, it was never up for the past few hours but showed it on my sidebar on my blog.
4 months has gone by so fast. Sometimes time just needs to slow down. She is so cute and I can't wait to hear about her weight. You need to get her on video rolling over!
