The weekend turned out to be great! We didn't do too much. Grammie ended up staying until Saturday morning so Friday night, Justin and I got out for a couple of hours. We went to the casino. It was a good time. Saturday afternoon we headed out to the Tackle Show. Hadlea slept through the entire thing in her stroller as we walked around and looked at isles and isles of fishing stuff...BORING! But Justin was in heaven! :) Sunday we hung out most of the day. Nana, Rusty, Riley and Hannah stopped by for a few minutes then we headed out for church...made a Walmart run and then we were back home! We got Hadlea's bags packed to start daycare today. She was supposed to go at 8am, but I called and said I would bring her around lunch. I just cannot stand the thought of her being gone the entire day! Changing the subject... :) So here are just a few of my favorite pics from last week and this weekend....

Hadlea and her Uncle Alan when he was here babysitting! There is truly NO hope for this kid! He is going to spoil her like crazy! And with that sweet smile...I think she knows it!

This is how I will spend every week night going forward. I will not let either of them out of my site since I won't see them during the day!

And Justin might fight me every night for this position. She is always so content sitting straight up with her daddy!

just an update...

Instead of writing much today, I decided to update my header! It is kind of picture overload...but those are some of my VERY favorite pictures! I LOVE it!

Not too much going on around here...Grammie is still here spending the week watching Hadlea while I work. She will be going home tonight or tomorrow. We don't have many plans for the weekend...maybe a good ol' fishing show that the husband wants to go to....nothing like a big room of fishing poles and lures and maybe a boat or two! Ha!

Anna Grace...your mommy told me you love to watch Hadlea's videos! Here is one for you to watch! I know Hadlea misses you and Harvey and Zac so much and we so look forward to seeing you very soon! Make sure your mommy takes some pictures of you all so I can show Hadlea! I LOVE this picture of you and Hadlea from Christmas! It is definitely my favorite! I love you sweet girl!

Hadlea's 2 Month Appointment

Yesterday we went to Hadlea's 2 month appointment. She had to have 3 shots and 1 oral vaccine. IT.WAS.TERRIBLE! Please...someone tell me they get easier! I know I was more nervous than her and definitely cried more! She cried for about a minute and then went to sleep. I think I cried for about 10 minutes! I was just so sad for her! Our doctor could NOT believe she was sleeping all night long. Here are her stats:

Length: 23 1/2" - 81%

Weight: 10lbs 2.5 oz - 24%

Head Circumference: 37.75cm -17%

She is growing so fast! I cannot believe it has already been two months!

Life gets better every day!

Hadlea's Baptism Weekend...Cont

This might be picture overload, but there were WAY too many great pictures not to share! We took 243 pictures over the weekend...just so many memories to look back on over the years! February 14 will always be more than Valentine's Day to me. It will always be the day we gave Hadlea to Jesus. (John 3:5: Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.)
Before Hadlea was born, we found out how truly blessed and loved we were by the gifts we received while we awaited her arrival...after Hadlea was born and we were in the hospital, we found out how truly blessed we were by the amount of prayers we received for her to get better and get to go home with us...and this past Sunday was NO different! We had so many friends and family join us as we Baptized Hadlea. I have said so many times that I LOVE and look up to my Godparents in so many ways, and I hope the same for Hadlea too. Justin and I talked several times about who we would choose to be Hadlea's Godparents. It was not a choice we took lightly, but in the end, it was the right choice for Hadlea. I know my brother Alan and best friend Shannan will watch over her if anything EVER happens to Justin and I. I know they will provide the best for her and make sure she knows Jesus and follows Him with her heart, ALWAYS! Now, on to pictures...I have to say so many of these pictures will always have a special place in my heart!
