our thursday...

Thursday was another daycare day, and the last for the week for Hadlea! It didn't go so well... hopefully after she gets on a better schedule she will start doing better! Poor girl... just makes her momma so sad! But she sure looked cute, huh?! :)
We played a bit before going to daycare this morning! She seen her daddy's Bass Pro magazine and reached for it so I gave it to her in her chair. She opened the page to a man, pointed and said, 'dadda'. Then she turned to these lures and said, 'fish, dadda fish'. I don't think she meant to put them together, but I was laughing hysterically and then had to take a picture to send to her dadda. He was SUPER proud!
When we got back from daycare we ate more lunch since she still didn't eat well today. This girl LOVES Cheerios and could probably finish a box in just a few days! If she sees a box, she normally squeals with delight! :) So after eating a good lunch, she got her favorite for dessert!
After nap time, guess who arrived...
She was SO glad to see her Grammie! After finally drinking her entire cup of juice (she must have been thirsty), she hugged and hugged on her Grammie... I  have barely got to touch her since Grammie arrived! :) I feel the same about having my momma here! It never gets old!
We went for a walk since it was in the 70s! It was SO nice outside, but super windy. But we couldn't go anywhere without a baby!
 love.this.face.
After our walk, we went out back to swing...
She loves to swing, but always prefers her baby swing! No idea why...
She thought kicking Grammie was really funny!
 swinging with Gram!
 Getting up to slide!
 some hugs for momma!
 now swinging with momma!
This little boy was in heaven playing fetch!
I LOVE his sweet face!
We are headed out to do a little shopping with Grammie! Should be a fun day!

our wednesday...

Here is our Wednesday in pictures...
We got up and dressed and ready to head to daycare!
 I LOVED H's outfit! Carters.
I think they got TONS of our money this Birthday/Christmas. :)
And then this hat. LOVE it too! Walmart.
They always get a ton of our money! Ha!
Daycare was iffy. She cried when I dropped her off and wouldn't sit on her own to eat. But, they said she was perfect, funny and laughing during playtime. Hopefully she will start eating on her own next week, or she will get VERY hungry! :(
After daycare, it was home for some playtime. We played in the box Grampie made us!
Hi! (which is normally what she was saying!)
Can you see everything she dragged in the box behind her?!
baby, purse, clothes, towel, Rico and toys!
 Riding time!
After our play time, she took a nap, and momma did laundry and some cleaning. Boo! After her nap, we played a little more, ate a snack and then headed to Kathleen's, which is a boutique here in Tulsa. They were having their half off sale on bows so I took a few outfits to have matched. We happen to run into Becky, Brinley, Becky's mom and sis! You can read about Becky and sweet Ms B here. Becky married Greg, who I went to high school with and is the aunt of my friend Jennifer. Such a small world! I helped Becky with Jennifer's baby shower for Ady what seems like forever ago, and I have followed her blog since she started it. It was great to finally meet Brinley in person... she is just adorable! So great running into y'all Becky! I hope you found some great deals around Tulsa!
Once we got home, daddy was home which = more play time! Daddy cooked dinner so we ate and then it was bath time for H! She is starting to go to bed earlier again since starting daycare. We are also starting to brush our teeth twice a day.. she LOVES to have her teeth brushed and usually gets pretty upset when we take it away! :) But I would rather have that then fighting to brush her teeth!!
Really?! When did she get big enough to sit on her own and chew on her tooth brush brush her teeth?! Crazy!! And look at those chunky thighs... just like her momma's! :)
I took this in the bath...
Her hair is getting so long!
Once we got our pjs on, we came into the kitchen to find daddy cleaning out the refrigerator. Hadlea decided to help... or maybe supervise!
And since we hadn't taken out all of the trash since Christmas and our house was covered in paper and boxes, daddy decided to bag those up and get rid of them too... Hadlea again decided to help or supervise! This just cracked me up watching her carry this box to her daddy... she was just laughing and squealing!
And she loves to wear her hats.
She has the sweetest face EVER!
I cannot believe today is already Thursday! The week has flown by, but I am loving every minute with H! I could just eat her up with a spoon! She is just so perfect!
----------------------------------
My SIL sent me this picture she took of Hadlea and her cousin Riley at our Christmas! This pretty much shows how she feels about Riley! She LOVES him and any picture she sees of him she points and says... something! I am still trying to figure out what alot of those somethings are! :)

our days, new words & daycare

These last few weeks of being home with Hadlea have been the.best.ever! I have one more week off of work and then back to the grind. I would love to be a SAHM, but at the same time, I have so much respect for each of you! Getting to work from home allows me to clean and do laundry during the day while H is at daycare. I love this because I do not have to do it at night when she is home, and it allows me to spend more time with her. During time off like this, it makes me wonder how in the world you SAHMs get anything done other than at nap time!? I swear my house is a disaster and out of control, but oh well, I will get it back together eventually! Right now, I am enjoying time with my sweet girl... She is in the funnest stage yet, and I cannot get enough of her little laugh and personality! Our days are consisting mostly of this...

getting up playing in our pjs...
eating some breakfast...
her first time eating eggs!
getting dressed to run some errands!
(I need to do a better job of planning our errand runs! I went to take a couple of things back on Monday, stood in line in the return line for 30 minutes for them to tell me how much I would get back, took 30 minutes trying on clothes to decide what I wanted, then stood 20 minutes in line to checkout only to need my license for the return, and I didn't have it! It was in Justin's wallet from when we went bowling on Christmas Day... grrrr... an hour and 20 minutes down the drain! But oh well... Hadlea was perfect. It could have been worse!)
playing with our toys!
drawing on the aquadoodle!
I think we might be able to start our own toy store!
think we have enough riding toys!? :)
playing with our babies!
and carrying our purses...
putting things in and out of them 100 times!
and talking on the phone!
Hadlea has started to put things to her ear and jabber and then start laughing... like she is having a conversation with someone. We really cannot get enough of it and are always handing her the phone to talk on.. it is hilarious!
Monday night we went to the Goff's house for dinner. Trevin got a motorized 4wheeler for Christmas. He doesn't like to push the button, but would rather push with his feet... Hadlea got on and pushed the button the first time and road across the living room! It was priceless. I cannot wait to buy her her first motorized vehicle! I know exactly which one I want her to have!! :)

H is becoming more of a toddler by the minute! I swear sometimes I say something and I think she tries to repeat it... awesome, but also VERY scary! :) She is also saying new words and following new commands on a regular basis :
  • thank you (when you give her something)
  • go (when she gets in her car and wants to be pushed)
  • yes (she is starting to shake her head yes and no to questions... and she usually does it correctly)
  • cheese (she says cheese when she eats cheese and cheese when she sees a camera! :) i believe she has had one in her face enough to know the difference! Ha!)
  • she now winks, with both eyes!
  • Hadlea has atleast 3 more teeth, which would take her to 11... ELEVEN! crazy!
Daycare...
Hadlea has been in an in-home daycare since around Halloween. We recently took her out. In the process, we got a call from a church daycare where we had put our name on their waiting list when we first got pregnant. When they called with the open spot, I told them I didn't need it, but then thought, maybe I should just try it. I went and looked at it and the people were amazing! It seemed like the perfect fit for us! They have art and music time every single day. They have play time either outside or in a huge open auditorium room with tons of toys. Once she turns 2, they have chapel time with the Children's Pastor. There were so many positives to this place that I was blown away.
Hadlea is a complete momma's girl... period! She doesn't like to get too far from me and after a couple of months, still cried every single time I dropped her off at the old daycare. I have said so many prayers that she adjusts well to this new daycare. I want her to be with other kids, but I want her to be happy... which is my main concern for her right now! I know she might be happy once I leave, but I want her to just walk right in to a place, see her friends and wave good-bye as I leave... I know it will eventually happen, but I do pray that this will be her home... her daycare... with her new friends! If not, we will do something different... in the meantime, I will just pray!

note: I added some pics from my phone to my christmas post here.

the tent...

Sunday evening Richard, Justin's fishing partner, and his wife, Deb, brought Hadlea a Christmas present! Deb said she knew she had a ton of toys and wanted to get something that would last, and she could use for years. This gift was also something their daughter, Katy, played with for years and loved...
opening with daddy...
 checking it out...
 a new tent!
 with a tunnel!
Here she is about to enter and check it out!
 crawling in...
We assumed we would have to coax her through the tunnel, but nope, she went straight through! This girl has no fear!
She even took her babies through!
I thought this was a great gift! Hadlea loved it, and it will be so fun on those super cold nights when we cannot go outside! Thanks to Richard and Deb for the gift... as if making a rocking horse wasn't enough to do for Hadlea already! :)
