Happy Birthday Jake

Sunday, April 12 was my little brother's birthday. He makes me feel so old to think he is a 25 year old married man! :) Jake, you are one of my very best friends and I cannot imagine life withouth you. I love you!

Easter Weekend 2009

On the Saturday of Easter Weekend, Justin had a fishing tournament. Surprise! So I got the kids and took them to the Easter Egg Hunt here in Glenpool. Faith Church always does such a great job! They have the egg hunt, inflatables, popcorn, cotton candy, clowns making ballons, face painting and even provide lunch with hotdogs. Best of all...its all free! I invited Justin's cousin's wife and their kids. All of the kids had a great time.

Justin and I spent Easter Sunday by going to church and then coming home, putting on our pjs and watching a movie. It was so cold and rainy that it was nice to lay around for a change. Later in the day, we went out to eat. It was a great weekend!

Hannah's 3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday to my niece, Hannah. I CANNOT believe she is 3 years old! Hannah's real birthday was on Sunday, April 5. She was born on 04/05/06! They had her real birthday party on Sunday, but Justin and I missed it due to the NASCAR race...I know, sad excuse! We tried to make it up to her my having another party. We brought over pizza and an ice cream cake.

We also went ahead and brought them their Easter presents. I didn't know if we would get to see them this coming weekend, so they got lots of clothes, toys, books and candy.

Weekend in Texas

Last weekend Justin and I drove to Dallas to see my cousin, James. He recently moved to Dallas from Minnesota. Friday night we went to a place called Chill. They had good music! And of course James always provides the entertainment....no pictures of that included! :)

Saturday night we went out to Texas Motor Speedway to catch up with some old friends. Let's just say the track provided more entertainment than on Friday! And again, no pictures of that entertainment!

Sunday we headed back to TMS for the NASCAR race. Incase you had no idea...I heart NASCAR. My fav driver is #17 Matt Kenseth. He did very well in the race....at one point he lead. He ended up finishing 5th overall. We had an extra ticket so we invited Andrew Watsek whom James and I went to school with.

Rooms (mostly) Complete

So I thought I would share all of the rooms in the house that we have painted/decorated since we moved here in 2006. I am very pleased with every room in my house, however, I know I will always continue to add. We have an empty bedroom that I didn't share that will one day be a nursery. Other than that, just a few ins and outs that I want to do! Now onto the outside...thank goodness Justin loves me and never gets tired of my need for change!
